Manali is a hill station which is situated in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is the famous hill station of India. It is one of the most crowded hill stations. Many people come here to mesmerize the beauty of nature. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 km north of the state capital, Shimla. This is one such destination that offers religious tourism, adventure tourism, wildlife tourism in just one trip and that is what makes it a clear paradise. Snow covered pines and fir trees are the showstoppers while you elevate upwards and drive into the loveliness of the world. Hidimbi Devi Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manali, a hill station in the State of Himachal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock jutting out of the ground which was worshiped as an image of the deity. The structure was built in 1553.

The Solang Nullah Valley is an angelic spot which very much resembles a  beautiful fairy in her dreamland feeling. The Himalayas view from here is Spectacular. The winters freeze the valley with children and adults of almost all ages are seen here enjoying the paragliding and skiing adventure sports available here. The kids and people slipping and sliding all over the frozen piece of land is another beauty to admire.


ROHTANG PAAS:

This surely needs the least introduction as this pass is already a known one too many. The pass is in the Pir Panjal range at its eastern ends and the glacier piles are a major attraction here as they built up pretty surroundings with flashes of seasonal flowers.

The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km Square at an altitude of between 1500 and 6000m. The lovers of nature and ornithologists would surely lose their hearts to this place due to the vast varieties of birds found here and the loving ambiance. The birds chirruping here would give you the best music of your life. The Great Himalayan National Park is a habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species, including approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds3 reptiles, 9 amphibians11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects. They are protected under the strict guidelines of the Wildlife Protection Act of 1972; hence any sort of hunting is prohibited.

There are various means of transportation to reach Manali. But the best means is to follow roads which makes your journey more enjoyable because of the scenic natural beauty you get to witness on the way.

Manali by Car/Taxi

Manali is well connected with Delhi and other cities via roads. One can always hop on his car or private vehicle to enjoy the beautiful journey to this beautiful place.

Manali by Bus


Manali is 570 km from Delhi and is well connected via government and private buses. Comfortable Volvo and Mercedes Benz also ply on the roads connecting Delhi to Manali via Ambala cantonment and Chandigarh area.

Manali by Train

Unfortunately, there is no nearer rail gauge to Manali but one can go for the Chandigarh, Pathankot, and Kalka railheads to reach Manali with another few couples of ticks on the clock. The railways are still under plans for improvement.

Manali by Air

The nearest airport is Bhuntar airport also called the Kullu-Manali airport stands at 50 km from Manali and is well connected to all places here with taxis. Air India flights are all available from Delhi to Manali.
