It is a part of Table Mountain. Here you can meet the penguins. It is the only place in Africa where you witness the penguins. So, if you want to see these beautiful creatures, then you must have to visit once in a life.

CAPE OF GOOD HOPE AND CAPE POINT

Extending south from Cape Town is the Cape of Good Hope, the peninsula that divides the Atlantic Ocean and False Bay (featuring numerous beautiful beaches as a result). Formerly an independent nature reserve, the Cape now lays encompassed by Table Mountain National Park and features miles of tranquil walking trails lined with fynbos (a colorful shrub-like plant). The dramatic cliff faces and ocean views will make you feel like you are at the end of the earth. It requires some conservation fees here.

TWO OCEANS AQUARIUM

If you are visiting Cape Town with your family, then you must have to visit the Two Oceans Aquarium. It is located on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront near the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Here you can see more than 2500 types of species like penguins, sharks, and turtles. Your kids will love to see the different types of wildlife here.

ROBBEN ISLAND

It has a history. Since the city was founded back in 17th century, it has acted as a military base, a home for a leper colony, a mental institution and most famously a prison. The famous Nelson Mandela was kept in prison here. Today, Robben Island houses turn into a museum detailing the history of the Island.

DUIKER ISLAND

It is also known as the Seal Island. It is located at the coast of Hout Bay in Cape Town. Here you can see a wide variety of seabirds and seals. There are many boat trips heading out to the island from Hout Bay Harbour.
